I shot this show after flying in 24 hours earlier from My Chemical Romance’s Riot Fest set in Chicago–one very exhausting experience. We had seats in the stands for Alpahretta show, and as the heat of the day billowed off the stands of the amphitheater and night fell, I had this weird, beautiful sense of calm. I was watching, mostly, from the screen, but took photos anyways with my shitty little rented Sony RX100–it’s just what I do. The show was great, even from a distance, because down there on the stage was that MCR magic, jewel-like, weird as ever, and, like us, sort of tired after the Riotfest bullshit. Some folks on twitter asked for high-res versions of these pictures. Most aren’t very good as photos. A lot of these are taken from very far away on screens–but they’re good souvenirs, and if you love this band, every fuzzy pixel is a treasure.
