The creative mind behind Atlanta-based metal band Effuse is a longtime collaborator and friend. Their upcoming EP, On Others, is a reflection on art and self-destruction.

As part of our collaboration, I produced an oil painting and single covers for the EP. The painting was featured in the music video for their single Augury, about the frustrations of creating, and images to create vector composites for merchandise were gathered from the video imagery. Merchandise and proposed CD designs all tie up to this profound, painful image of creation and destruction.

Sticker designs include a covert reference to the frame of Robert Rauschenberg’s famous conceptual art piece Erased DeKooning, for the art nerds out there.
